Face Dip Instructions
This is a very good way to clear your sinuses and reduce puffiness and swelling around your eyes.
Fill a large bowl with 5 to 8 quarts of very warm water, 100 degrees to 105 degrees. Mix in 2 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide and 2 tablespoons of salt. Do not stir this with your hand – use a clean spoon. Every 4 to 6 treatments, you should substitute, in place of hydrogen peroxide, 10-12 drops of iodine.
After it is completely dissolved, immerse your entire face in the water, up to the hairline, and hold it until you need to breathe — 10 to 20 seconds. Lift face out of the water, take a breath, and blow your nose. Dip your face in the water again. Do this 3 to 4 times. Open your eyes while you have your face in the water (it will not burn your eyes – if it does, you need more salt in the water).
After each immersion, blow your nose. You may do this entire procedure 2 to 3 times a day while your allergies are bothering you, or on a regular basis.
